Visit Pakistan For A Memorable Vacation Trip

If you have a small budget and want to visit a country with diverse cultures, unspoiled natural beauty, ancient history, traditions and delicious food for centuries, then there is no place on Earth better than Pakistan. The Pakistani people are very friendly, helpful and friendly with tourists abroad so that you will not only enjoy your stay in this country, but also brought home a beautiful memory of your visit.
Most of the foreign tourists fear the security situation in Pakistan and thus avoid a visit to the country. In fact, the situation is not as bad as projected by media reports. Islamabad

Start your visit from Islamabad, the capital of the beautiful green in Pakistan. Some of the most interesting and should be visited in Islamabad are: Lok Versa Heritage and Museum, Museum and monument of Pakistan, Garden Lake View, Saidpur Village (a village of beautiful Mughal era), Faisal Mosque (the largest mosque in South Asia). If interested in hiking then there are many hiking trails in the beautiful Margalla Hills. PIR Sohawa Margalla hills, above, is another place worth a visit. You can have lunch or dinner in the restaurant in there and enjoy the delicious food and stunning city views.

Taxila

If you are interested in the archaeological site, dating from the time of Buddha (600 BCE to 500 CE), then go to Taxila, a historic town which is 35 km from Islamabad. There are 50 archaeological sites spread over an area of 30 km around the city of Taxila. Some important sites are: Sirkap, Bhir Mound, Temple of Jandial Jaulian, the monastery and the Dhamarajika Stupa and Monastery. A great master of the Gandhara civilization, part of the world for over 1000 years. If you are in the Taxila then you should visit the Museum Taxila which has a collection of around 4000 items of Gandhara Art included the stone statues of Buddha.

Murree, Patriata, Ayubia

Just 35 kilometers from Islamabad is a beautiful Hill station of Murree, which is called the Queen of the hills. You can enjoy all day in there walking, hiking, chairlift ride or do some shopping. There are many shops in the Mall Road and in the surrounding streets offer lots of merchandise from tourist attractions. Many hotels and restaurants are also located there.

Other beautiful places Patriata (also known as New Murree), 15 km from the main Mall Road, Murree. Patriata attracts many tourists because of its height and cable car/chairlift which gives a beautiful view of the green hills and forests. Ayubia National Park is 25 km from Murree and the renowned pikniknya, places of hiking, walking trails and the chairlift that brings tourists to the top of nearby to views of the surrounding hills.

Khewra Salt Mine

Khewra Salt Mines, the second largest salt mine in the world, is 190 km from Islamabad and a short journey of about 2 hours 30 minutes travel by land. The mine was found by the army of Alexander the great, who see their horses lick salt stones while living in Khewra. In the 13th century, commercial salt mining started in Khewra. During the United Kingdom colonial rule, the modernized mine with construction of the tunnel, railway, electricity and the soda ash factory.

In 2002, the old parts of the mine was turned into a popular holiday destination which attracts approximately 200,000 visitors every year. Tourists can walk into the tunnel or take the train to the main recreation area where everything is created artistically with salt white, pink and red. There is a mosque, a model of the Tower of Minar-e-Pakistan (Tower of Pakistan), Shish Mahal (Palace of Mirrors), a post office, a restaurant and stalls that sell stuff the ornaments made from rock salt. Reflection of light, through the clear salt, making the area look like a fairy tale where fantasy becomes reality. There are also Assembly Hall, Pulsarat Chambers, Brine (25-feet bridge without pillars), outdoor salt lamps lit with extravagant and roots of trees that do not burn. Lahore

4-hour drive by car or bus in toll roads can take you to the heart of the historic city of Lahore. If you are in Pakistan and don't see Lahore then you didn't see anything. Lahore is the central educational institutions and universities, historic sites, tombs and shrines, mosques, gardens, art and literature, folk music and culture, festivals and food. Some places to look are: Shahi Qila (the fortress of Lahore), the slightly larger Badshahi Masjid, Shalimar Gardens, Lahore Museum, the tomb of Emperor Jahangir, Data Darbar (Shrine of the Sufi Saint Data Gang Bakhsh who lived there more than 900 years ago), the old Walled City and road food. People of Lahore to welcome foreign tourists with a vengeance and is very friendly with them.

Kaghan Valley

Kaghan, 270 km from Islamabad is a popular summer resort. This is a long Valley 160 kilometers, starting from the height of the foot to 2,134 13,690 feet. Pine forests, alpine meadows, flowers, crystal clear lakes, and cool mountain streams in the Valley welcomes you to enjoy your holiday in this wonderful nature.

The town of Kaghan, Naran Valley is where most tourists want to enjoy short day trips to Lake Saiful Muluk, Lalazar, Lulusar Lake and the Babusar Pass. The most visited place is Lake Saiful Muluk are the legendary snow clad mountains surrounded by an impressive and crowned by a pinnacle Malika Parbat (Queen of the Mountains).

Shogran is, undoubtedly, the most beautiful high plains in the valley because of the beautiful natural landscape with wildflowers and lush green meadows. Travel the scenic cruise with the jeep from Shogran through a rough road along the eight-kilometer takes you to an altitude of 2,300 walk to siri and paye, lush green pastures, from which you can enjoy spectacular views of Malika Parbat.

Night Jabba

Night Jabba is 300 km from Islamabad and it takes 6 hours 30 minutes to get there by road. This is a very good ski resorts located 8,700 ft above sea level, providing views of the black mountains and the Karakoram. The resort has a ski slopes about 800 m is facilitated with a chairlift. The highest point of the slope is 9,200 ft. There are smaller slopes with ski-lifts for skiers amateurs as well. It has two lines through the Ghorband Valley trekking (18 km) and the Valley of Sabonev (17 km). In the Evening around the area there are two Buddhist stupas Jabba and six monasteries that are more than 2000 years.

Gilgit Baltistan

Gilgit is reachable from Islamabad in one hour by air and 20 hours road trip. Located in Northern Pakistan Gilgit Baltistan region is a paradise for mountaineers and trekkers. This area is surrounded by some of the world's highest mountain peak with a height of more than 8000 metres. In addition to the majestic mountains, the world's second highest mountain, K2, Shigar Valley is located at. Some of the largest glaciers outside polar region is also located in the region of Gilgit along with 2200 sq. kilometres of snow-covered area; Lake; Diverse flora and fauna and 6500 square km of forest. The area is famous for the luxury and beauty of the landscape. Here's three of the strongest in the world: the mountains of the Karakoram, Himalayas and Hindukuch meet.

There are several tourist attractions are relatively close to the city of Gilgit which is worth visiting. These are: the Valley of Naltar, Hunza Valley, the Valley of Nagar, Fairy Meadows, a town of Shigar, Skardu town, Haramosh Peak in the Karakoram Range, Bagrot-Haramosh Valley, Deosai National Park, Valley of the Astore, Lake City of Rama, Juglot, Phunder, Yasin Valley village and Valley Kargah.
